The stocks below have a Cup w/ Handle chart pattern as of the date above. Some are not what I would
consider "Classic" patterns.
There are varying opinions as to what constitutes
a "Classic" Cup w/ Handle pattern.
Generally you would like to see a run up to
the left side top of the cup.
As the price drops and the cup forms a
bottom it is
preferable that volume is lower until the
right side high is forming at which time
volume should
increase.
The right side high price should be fairly close
to the left side high. Preferably within 5%.
From
the
right side high a handle with a
downward price slope should form on lower volume.
We would like to see the low in
the handle at
no more than 50% of the difference between the right
or left side cup high...(I use whichever side is
higher)
and the low of the cup.
The correct buy point is subjective. My opinion
is that one should consider placing
an order
at $.01 above the right side high if the volume
is 50% or more above the Average Daily Volume.
I call this the "FLASH POINT".
Here are sites that explain the pattern
in more detail:

Cup w/ Handle 2
Cup w/ Handle 3
Cup w/ Handle 4
Cup w/ Handle 5
Please note that you will need to look at longer term charts to see the
pattern on some stocks.
